Wildlife Artist Dwayne Lee born
Pikeville Kentucky, now resides
in Ohio He studied fine art from schools in Minnesota,
New York, and Connecticut. He received his first art
award in 1960.
Dwayne's work is know throughout the United States, Canada and many other countries. His fine works of art are now being collected by prominent political officials, such as governors, state representatives,people of both the legal and medical profession and many others. Dwayne has been interviewed
on TV and Radio talk shows. He has shown art work
in major art shows, such as Soho, New York, the art capital of the world, also art shows sponsored by U.S Fish and Wildlife Service and Pheasant"s Forever. Dwayne was commissioned by Tip Inc. (turn in a poacher) of Ohio to do paintings of wildlife for their program. He was chosen by Ducks"s Ulimited Inc. as a state supplemental artist, Dwayne is also an active member and supporter of Duck"s Unlimited.
Dwayne spends countless hours observing, sketching, and photographing wildlife and landscapes.
A three year study of wildlife at The North American School Of
Conservation has greatly enhanced his knowledge of wildlife and habitat. This has assisted Dwayne enormously in his unique style of painting his ambition as an artist is to
continue to study nature in all it's beauty.
Dwayne is a detailed artist, the painting of the Cougar (ON THE PROWL) required many hours of research in order to portray this subject accurately. Dwayne's love of the outdoors inspires him to continue to capture on canvas, wildlife in their natural habitat.
Dwayne is an avid outdoorsman and conservationist.
